Joey Gilbert

Joey Gilbert, 40, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 21, 2019.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 6, 1979; son of Sandra Mullins and Eugene Gilbert. Joey spent his life as a loving father, son, nephew, cousin, and friend. Joey was of the Baptist faith. He was a hard worker, enjoyed fishing, and was very proud of his welding skills. He was known to say, “I’m a darn good welder”.

Joey is survived by his children, Dakota Gilbert, Ryker Gilbert and Skyler Gilbert; father, Eugene Gilbert of Cabot, Arkansas; mother, Sandra Miller and husband Dennis of Heber Springs, Arkansas and brothers, Elliot Gilbert, Eddie Gilbert and Brenden Miller.

He was preceded in death by his child, Memphis Gilbert.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
