Wesley Carl Weeks, 56, of Pleasant Plains, departed this life on Monday, August 24, 2026, in Little Rock.  He was born on September 13, 1969, in Ackerman, Mississippi, to Jimmy Carl Weeks and Syble Levell McCafferty Weeks.

Wesley was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.  He also loved being with his family and spending as much time with them as possible.  During the last few months he enjoyed some road trips with his mother and father. 

During his working years he worked in trucking and served our country in the Marines. He was a member of Blythe Creek Baptist Church. 

Wesley will be remembered by so many, especially those who heard him always say, “everything is going to be all right”, no matter what anyone would be facing in this life. 

Wesley is survived by his wife, Lillly Weeks; his parents, Jimmy and Syble; his daughter, Leanna Weeks; his sister, Grace Weeks; his grandchild, Katrina; great grandson, Bentley Weeks; nieces; nephews; and several friends he made through his travels and places he worked.  

He is preceded in death by his son, Robert (Robbie) Weeks. 

Funeral Service will be Friday, August 28, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Blythe Creek Baptist Church in Mathison, Mississippi.

Burial will follow the service in the Bowles Cemetery in Reform, Mississippi.

Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Blythe Creek Baptist Church in Mathiston, Mississippi.
