Shirley Melissa Lisenby

Shirley Melissa Lisenby, 55, of Ash Flat, departed this life on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Batesville.  She was born on April 20, 1970, in Beaumont, Texas, to R. E. Nelson, Jr. and Carolyn Freeman.

Shirley loved her children and grandchildren as well as her beloved chihuahuas. She also enjoyed cooking and listening to Bon Jovi music.

She is survived by her daughters, Jamie Beckman, Charitta Lisenby, Jessica Hodge, and Melissa Lisenby; her sons, John Elliott and Jason Lisenby; her sister, Laura Malinchalk; grandchildren, Kaidin, Adriana, Stephanie Beckman, Sophia Bradley, Axton and Arianna Bell, Colton and Josiah Harley, Novaleigh, Brantley, Braylon, Jasmine, Alicia, Khloe Lisenby, and Haley Burns. 

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration will be at a later date.
