Shelia Marie Guthrie

Shelia Marie Guthrie, 41, of Sulphur Rock, departed this life on Monday, July 4, 2022.

She was born in Batesville on August 7, 1980, to Benny Goings and Linda McNaughton Goings. She and Tony Guthrie were married on March 31, 2007, in Sulphur Rock. She was a member of the Sulphur Rock Baptist Church.

Shelia was a homemaker and a Razorback fan. She enjoyed being outdoors, going fishing, and boating. She also enjoyed sewing and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Guthrie, of the home; sons, Payton Guthrie, and Gus Guthrie, of Sulphur Rock; brothers, Benny Goings, Jr. (Teresa), of Magness, Bruce Goings, (Diane), of Cord; nieces and nephews, Lauren, Kristen, Josh, Monica; great niece and nephew, Kole and Haylynn; several other family members and friends.

Shelia was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents, Glenn and Delphie Goings.

A Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Sulphur Rock Baptist Church in the with Bro. Brian Combee officiating.

Burial will follow the service in the Macedonia Cemetery in Newark.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Holmes, Jimmy Dixson, Danny Morgan, Ethan Benton, Ronald Hall, Dylan Taylor, and Jim Fuller.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
