Sharon Ring, of Cave City, died at home in her sleep on December 10th, 2023.
She was funny, generous, caring, stubborn, sharp as a tack, had a great memory, and loved sharing stories with others.
Most things in her home were attached to fond memories of those who gave them to her or the memories cherished with it.
She spent many years bartending at the American Legion among others. She made many friends and good memories.
She loved visits from family and was so pleased to get a call from friends and family that visited or called to chat or check on her. She had joy spending time with her cat and watching the birds and she enjoyed cooking. And she loved Mark Martin and Nascar races.
She really wanted a Christmas tree this year and was so pleased when a neighbor gave her one. She was so proud of that tree with the red lights she wanted on it.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Irene Ring, her siblings, JD, Jesse, Pete, Bobby, and Geraldine, and her daughter, Victoria Ring.
She leaves behind her son, Jeremy Ring; granddaughter, Vanessa Kautz; grandson, Blake Ring; great grandkids, Khaleesi, Kasin, Jessa, and Eli; as well as other nieces and nephews.
She was loved and will be greatly missed. The family is planning a service and will be deciding on a location, date, and time.
Please pray for peace and comfort for the family.
