Sabrina Georgette Horne

Sabrina Georgette Horne, 46, of Batesville, departed this life on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in Batesville.  She was born in Batesville on April 21, 1980, to George E. Tosh and Maryland Pierce Mitchell.  

Sabrina worked as a surgical technician for a period of time and will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and daughter, who enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family.  She adored her 1st grandchild, Hadessa, who brought her much happiness.  Sabrina was an outdoors type person who loved the creeks and collecting rocks.  She had a wonderful rock collection and would always be busy finding something to do.

Sabrina was a member of Ruddle Hill Baptist Church in Bethsada. 

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Marlyn Mitchell of Batesville; her sons, Levi Horne and Eric Horne, of Batesville; her daughter, Lacei Horne, of Batesville; her sisters, Mechelle (Joe) Booke, of Seattle,Washington, Ladonna (Williiam) Dowell, of Batesville, and Charity (Buddy) Branscum, of Southside; her granddaughter, Hadessa, of Batesville; several nieces; nephews; her best friends, Jenifer and Drew Hess, of Pleasant Plains, and Desiree Davis, of Batesville; the father of her children and a good friend for life, Eric Horne, of Tuckerman; and step-mother, Wanda Tosh, of Batesville. 

She is preceded in death by her father, George Tosh; and her grandparents, Eddie and Buck Tosh, who were very involved in her childhood, a niece, Lacey; and a best friend, Nicole Piety.

A Celebration of Life for Sabrina will be held at a later date.
