Rita Kay Shelton

Rita Kay Shelton, 76, of Batesville, departed this life on Friday, June 17, 2022. She was born in Rector, Arkansas on January 7,1946 to Herman and Wanda Lee Gregory Morris.

Rita married Billie Shelton in 1963 and they enjoyed over 41 years of marriage.

During her working years she was a hairdresser and owned Timberline Restaurant in Highland for many years.

Rita is survived by her sons, Billie Shelton, Jr., (Sharon), of Cherokee Village, and Kevin Shelton (Heather), of Batesville; brothers, Darrel Morris (Linda), of McComb, Michigan, and Chuck Morris (Dee), of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; grandchildren, Heather, Justin, Elizabeth, and Brody; great grandchildren, Katherine, Charlette, Jedediah, Saphira, Sabrina, James, and Jensen; and several extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A service will be announced at a later date.
