Paul Adelbert Foote

Paul Adelbert Foote, 73, of Locust Grove, departed this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 11, 1952, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Paul Elias Foote and Lois Louise Hivley Foote.

Paul will be remembered as a “workaholic” who enjoyed working in his shop. He was a mechanic and heavy equipment operator during his working years and enjoyed being involved in the trucking industry. His hobbies included rebuilding motors and body shop work on vehicles. He also loved the outdoors and also did some work hauling logs. 

Paul served our country in Army and was a dedicated member of the Faithful Gospel Church in Banner, Arkansas. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Christine, of the home; his sons, Mark Carter, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Paul J. Foote, of Council Bluffs, Iowa,and David L. Bunn, of Locust Grove; his daughters, Trina (Tim) Wilson, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Christal Bunn, of Alma, Illinois, Felicia Bunn, of Locust Grove, Cierra Weiss, of Sandoval, Illinois, and Michelle Howell, of Heber Springs;  his sisters, Donna Rhodes, of Crescent, Iowa, and Diana Hasbrook, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his sister-in law, Donna Dee Foote, of Crescent, Iowa; his grandchildren, Danielle, Jacob, Maddison, Harley, Maria, Melissa, Emma, Shanahae, Gabriel, Shianna, Zander, Emily, Adriel, Hadleigh, Christiana, Jaxton, Kazan, Elisa, Tucker, Emmy, Kaleigh, and Lanaya; ten great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David D. Foote; and two grandchildren, Shianna and Zander. 

Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Arkansas and Iowa.
