Maxie Jane Walden

Maxie Jane Walden, 71, of Cushman, departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025. She was born in Prescott, Arkansas, on January 5, 1954, to Roland Meador and Marion Billingsley Meador. During her working years she worked in customer service at Kroger Grocery Store.

Maxie loved to collect antiques, sew, and work in her yard.  She was a beautiful person who would gladly share her thoughts with you.  Her coworkers referred to her as “sassy” because she always had something to say.

One of her loves was her animals, Winn Dixie and Elsa, her beloved dogs.

Left to cherish her memory, is her sons, Robert Hunter, of the home, and Chad Walden, of Virginia; her daughter, T. J. Tosh, of Cushman; her brother, David Meador, of Sardis, Arkansas; her sister, Geraldine Wilson, of Bryant; her grandchildren, Caden, Emilia, and Jet, Katie, and William.

Maxie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Terry Walden, and brothers, Roger and Gary Meador.
