Kathy Sue Corbit

Kathy Sue Corbit, 59, of Locust Grove, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, October 30, 2026. She was born in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, on February 4, 1967, to Elvin Rickett and Stella Louise Thompson.

She and Ricky Corbit were married on February 1, 2006, in Pleasant Plains and enjoyed over twenty years of marriage until her death. 

During her working years she was a line worker with Ford Production.  She enjoyed fishing, reading, dancing, going to yard sales, playing cards, and watching soap operas. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ricky, of the home: her sons, Joshua (Felecia) Pyle, of Southside, and Aaron (Kera) Lawrence, of Bald Knob; her daughter, Kathleen Blevins,fo Locust Grove; her brother, Cary Dale (Kayla) Rickett, of Bald Knob; her sister, Geneva Cornwell, of Kentucky; grandchildren, Alex, Lilly, Matthew, Arizona, Penelope, Sebastian, Starr, and Tony; her uncle, Jesse Thompson, of Bald Knob; and Sue Milligan, of Bald Knob; several nieces; nephews; and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; her aunt, Brenda; and uncle, Bobby; and other family members.

A private family service will be held later.
