Johnathan Stephen Rorex

Johnathan Stephen Rorex, 43, of Batesville, departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in Batesville. He was born in Batesville, on March 22, 1983, to Harold Rorex and Joyce Allender. 

Johnathan was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Southside. During his working years he was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Walmart.

Johnathan enjoyed going to the gym and wrestling. He loved spending time with his family and friends and always made it a point to keep in contact with them. Johnathan had an unrivaled heart for humanity. 

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Allender (Garry Whisnant), of Southside; his brothers, Keith White, of Little Rock, Christopher Rorex, of Batesville, and Kenny (Jackie) Whisnant; his sisters, April (Jason) Hawkins, and Maronda (Dean) Whiteaker; and many loved nephews; family; and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Rorex; grandparents, Ruby and Ernest Allender, and Harold and Geneva Rorex, and aunt, Glenda Peel.

A Memorial Service will be at the Doty Southside Funeral Service Chapel in Southside with Pastor Susan Killen officiating at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
