Joe Frank Doyle, 71, of Newark, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on January 14th 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 7th 1954, at home in Strawberry, Arkansas with Granny Doyle as mid-wife, to Letha and Arnold Doyle who he was proceeded in death. He was married to Marilyn "Kay" Doyle in 1974 until her passing in 2011.
During their thirty seven years of marriage they had two children, one son, Billy Joe "BJ" Doyle, of Paragould, Arkansas, and one daughter, Nikki Jo Barnett, of Cave City, Arkansas. Joe was of Christian Baptist faith and believed that Jesus was his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed being outside and no matter the weather, he liked "chewing the cud" on the front porch and watching the traffic. Joe was a well known truck driver for several local companies and took pride in his work. In his leisure time Joe loved music, horses and fishing. Yet his family was his greatest joy. He always had a quick witted pun in his pocket and was ready to cast it out for the next laugh.
Joe was proceeded in death by his wife, Marilyn "Kay" Doyle; his parents, Arnold Bufford and Letha Doyle; siblings, John Doyle, a Tetinam Vet; two sisters, Rita Williams (Joe), and Karen Aldricl Andy); his sister in laws, Deanna Finney, Wanda Jones (Bill); and Billy Ray Hill; three nephews, Heath Doyle, Bobbie Jean Jones, Christopher Polston; mother in-law, Ruby Jean Broadway; sister in-law, Tina Renee Broadway.
He is survived by his daughter, Nikki Jo Barnett (Doyle), of Cave City, and son, Billy Joe Doyle, of Paragould: two grandsons, Andrew Doyle, of Newark and Cameron Doyle, of Cave City; two grand daughters, Bailey Jo Barnett, of Cave City, and Callie Doyle; five nephews; five nieces; and several great nephews; his sister, Elizabeth Doyle, of Lynn; and his brother, Tom Doyle, of Strawberry.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Strawberry Church of Christ with Bro. Kenny Townsley officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the Ward Cemetery in Strawberry.
Pallbearers will be Tim Polston, Anthony Barry, James Willard, Spencer Doyle, Steven Bateman, and Ernest Burris.
A time of visitation will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Strawberry Church of Christ beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.
