Jimmy Kyle Shaw

Jimmy Kyle Shaw, 53, of Sidney, Arkansas, formerly of Newark, departed this life on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was born in Batesville, Arkansas, to Jimmy Ray Shaw and Judith Kay Hendrix Shaw.

During his working years he drove a delivery truck for C & R Fortune Distribution in Newport, Arkansas for thirteen years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, demolition, and his most favorite was being an uncle.  He was a graduate of Gateway Vo-Tech earning an EMT certificate.

Kyle is survived by his sister, Kimberly R. Shaw, of the home; brother in law, James “Bibo” Bumpous, of Thida; a nephew, Steven Tyler (Jessica) Shaw, of Sulphur Rock; a great nephew, Henry James Shaw, of Sulphur Rock; his aunts, Barbara (Bobby) Morrison, of Newark, and Rita Mae Hendrix Farrier, of Newark;  his uncle, Jerry (Barbara) Shaw, of Newark; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, I J and Louise Shaw; W. L. “Buddy” and Ludie Hendrix. 

Memorial Service is Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill Church, 2100 Walnut Grove Road, Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, with Bro. Mitchell Bell officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brad Brock, Ty Shaw, Henry James Shaw, Duran Dud Riley, Richard Buford, Lane Parks, James “Bibo” Bumpous, Jason Donna, Legacy Hospice Nurses, and the Class of 1990.
