Jimmy Ray Hertz

Jimmy Ray Hertz, 67, of Pleasant Plains, departed this life on Monday, June 23, 2025, in Pleasant Plains.  He was born in PawPaw, Michigan, on July 1, 1957, to Raymond E. and Olena Patricia Casey Hertz.  During his lifetime he worked in the poultry industry as a factory worker and truck driver.

Jimmy enjoyed the outdoors mowing his yard or just tinkering around with things he could find to repair.  He also enjoyed working on vehicles. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Addie Marie, of the home: his daughter, Lori Benefield, of Beedeville, Arkansas; his brothers, Lewis Hertz, of Batesville, Fred Hertz, of Bradford, and John (Helen) Hertz, of Pleasant Plains; his sister, Patricia (George) Simon, of Batesville; two grandchildren, Tammy and Shasta; great grandson, Mason; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents.
