Janice Ann Pogue

Janice Ann Pogue, 75, of Batesville, passed from this walk of life on Friday, February 18, 2022. 

She was born in Cushman on December 30, 1946, to Wesley Smith and Ruby Nail Smith.

She and Steven Pogue were married in Batesville on December 15, 1989, and they enjoyed over thirty-two years of marriage.   During her working years she worked at White Rogers on the assembly line.  She was a member of Ruddell Hill Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Steven, of Batesville; stepdaughter, Kyla Hawkins and husband, Cliff, of Thayer, Missouri; her sister, Bonnie Herzig, of Batesville; two grandchildren, Layne Hawkins and wife, Amber, and Lacey Hall and husband, C. J.; several nieces and nephews; and a very good friend, Teresa Milligan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Frankie Smith, and sister, Judy Murdock, and a half-sister, Nelcine Skinner.

A Graveside Service will be Sunday, February 20, 2022, in the Wiseman Cemetery, Wiseman, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Tyler Bramlett officiating.
