James Lane

James Bruce Lane, age 77, of Batesville, passed from this life on Friday, June 30, 2023.  James was born on September 22, 1945, to the late Lucille and Lee Lane of Virginia.  

He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a communication specialist during the Vietnam War.

James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Lane.

He is survived by his children, Sheryl Lane, Linda and Danny Knuckles; nine grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; three brothers; wife, Faye, her three sons; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him!
