Jackie Frankie Adkisson

Jackie Frankie Adkisson, 70, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Wood Lawn Nursing Home in Batesville, Arkansas.

He was born in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas on January 10, 1949, son of the late Walter and Ora (Caraway) Adkisson. Jackie spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Greenfield on April 6, 1968 in Batesville, Arkansas. Jackie was employed by Ideal Bakery for 30 years. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Batesville, Arkansas.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Carolyn Adkisson of Batesville, Arkansas; son, Terry Adkisson and wife Shirl of Newark, Arkansas; grandchildren, Matthew Adkisson, Joshua Adkisson and Jennifer Adkisson and sister, Zelda Engles of Guion, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ora Adkisson and sister Armadle Heathington.

Pallbearers include: Robby Mize, Tracy McMahan and Brady Melton

Honorary Pallbearers include: Matthew Adkisson, Joshua Adkisson, Jennifer Adkisson, Brizden Melton and Brylee Melton

Funeral services will be Friday, June 28, 2019 beginning at 10:00 AM with Bro. Michael Parmley officiating at First Church in Batesville, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley in Batesville, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:00 AM.
