Craig “Cowboy" Brown

Craig "Cowboy" Brown, departed this life on Saturday, March 25. 2023 in Batesville.  He was born on June 27, 1942 in Batesville to Romus Brown and Nellie Tosh Brown.  He served our country in the Army and during his working years he was a farm manager and truck driver.

He will be remembered by many people as the "Dollar Bill Man" who loved to give dollar bills to children in Walmart. He was a giver to others, enjoyed telling stories, and making people laugh.  He was a talker on the phone and at one time in his life he and his brother were hunting guides in Colorado.

Cowboy is survived by his daughter, Lana Shivers; grandchildren, Zack (Rachel) Groves, of Little Rock and Ethan (Chloe) Patterson, of Batesville; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over fifty-years, Donna Sue Brown, his parents, a brother, Nelse Brown, and a sister, Mary Sue Brown Davison.
