Grant Stroh Jr.

Grant Stroh, Jr., 78, departed this life on Friday, June 23, 2023. He was born on November 14, 1944, in Batesville, Arkansas to Grant Ernest Stroh, Sr. and Beulah Bernice Packett Stroh.

During his working years he worked as a truck driver. When he wasn’t driving a truck, he loved to fish, grill out, and he especially loved his dogs (Lisa, Daisy, and Rainey).

Grant is survived by his son, Ernie Stroh (Tracy) of Southside, Arkansas; daughter, Sue Dawson of Southside, Arkansas; grandchildren, Scotty Ellis (Jessica) of Columbia, Missouri, and Geoff Ellis (Lindsey) of Desha, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, the mother of his children, Joyce Allen Stroh, and other family members.

Burial will be private.

Pallbearers will be Jason Lee, Wendell Lee, Ernie Stroh, Geoff Ellis, Scotty Ellis, and Cody Gann.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roland “Rooster” Turner, Toby Finster, AJ Jeffrey, Rusty Cheshire, Jackie Cheshire, Travis Cheshire, and Randy Wadley.
