Glenn Arthur Mitchell

Glenn Arthur Mitchell, 65, of Cherokee Village, departed this life on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in Batesville. He was born in Orlando, Florida on November 10,1955 to L.V. Mitchell and Jeanne Lee Schilling Mitchell.

He worked at Emerson Electric in Paragould for over thirty years and Mid-South Plumbing and Electrical in Jonesboro before retiring.

Glenn had a passion for playing golf and played daily. He was an avid Razorbacks sports fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

He was a member of the First Baptist Cherokee Village and served in various church ministries such as being an usher and member of the Yard Team. His love for the Lord was reflected in his managing the food pantry. Psalm 34:18 was one of his favorite verses.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Jesse.

He is survived by his daughter, Tamara McJunkin (Adam), of Grand Prairie, Texas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village with Bro. Larry White officiating.
