Glenda Fay Ford

Glenda Fay Wilson Key Ford, 77, of Desha, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. Glenda was born on June 5, 1948, Leachville, Arkansas, to Edward Lee Wilson and Lou Jessie Taylor Wilson.

She enjoyed being surrounded by her family; researching family history with her daughter; watching the Buffalo Bills with her daughter was always a special time. Especially if she was yelling at her TV. When she was outside, she was either gardening or sitting in her swing watching the birds and enjoying life.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Earnest, Virgil, and Birl; Sisters Louis, Martha, her Twin Linda, and Bonnie; Children: Darrell Dewayne Key, and Tanzy Michele Key. 

She is survived by her Brother: Johnny Wilson of Conway, Arkansas; her Sisters, Zelma Buechel of St. Louis, Missouri; JoAnna Rice of Mena, Arkansas; and Barbara Moore of Alma Arkansas; her Children: Patty Lynn Key of Buffalo, New York; Tabatha Lynn Key of Beech Grove, Arkansas; Jonathan Wayne Key of Desha, Arkansas; her Grandchildren: Vestal Frank Tomblin, Jr. of Boerne, Texas; Carl Wayne Ford, Jr. of Desha, Arkansas; Amber Diane Boyles of Beech Grove, Arkansas; John Eddie Ford of Desha, Arkansas; Leonard Wayne Key of Ash Grove, Missouri; and Gabriel Able Jaquin Key of Desha, Arkansas; her 14 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Walcott Baptist Church located at 1912 Highway 141 South, Walcott, Arkansas, 72474. The viewing will begin at 2pm, followed by the service at 3pm.

The Pallbearers will be Vestal Tomblin, Jr; Carl Wayne Ford, Jr.; John Eddie Ford; Zachery DeWayne Harrell, Leonard Wayne Key and Chris Eiler.

Glenda will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle humor, and the way she made every person feel special. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy will continue on in the hearts of generations to come.
