Gene Printess Burris

Gene Printess Burris, 64, of Cave City, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in Batesville.  He was born on January 23, 1962, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Ernest Burris and Emogene Lawrence.

Gene was a family man who loved spending time with everyone, especially his nieces and nephews.  He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his brothers, Ernest Burris, of Batesville, and Allen Moser, of Smithville; his sisters, Tina Kelley, of Batesville, JoAnn Burris, of Spokane, Washington, Julie (Rod) Malmay, of Cave City, and Marsha and Sandy, both of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; several nieces, and nephews. 

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Terry Burris; his sister, Patricia Burris; his niece, Jessica Moser; and his nephews, Trevor Abernathy, and Herby, Jr.
