Doris Imogene Cooper-Gyarmati

Doris Imogene Cooper-Gyarmati, 92, of Cave City, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Cave City.

She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on March 16, 1933, to the late Walter M. and Amanda (Stalcup) Cooper. Doris was united in marriage to the late Joseph Gyarmati in Mishawaka, Indiana, on December 16, 1978, and they were married for 41 years. Her favorite pastime was traveling. Doris had numerous hobbies including ceramics, sewing, knitting and gardening. During her working years, Doris worked in an office at Uniroyal.

Doris is survived by her niece and nephew, Herchel Cooper and Diane Hawkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Melvin Monroe Cooper and Herchel “Jack” Cooper and other family members.
