Carl J Thomas

Carl J. Thomas, 78, of Concord, departed this life on Saturday, January 29, 2022.  He was born on December 1, 1943 to Coy Howard Thomas and Hazel Green Thomas.

Carl was united in marriage to Sylvia Annette Cook on November 4, 1967 in Lilburn, Missouri.  They enjoyed over 54 years of marriage.

Carl farmed and also worked with a wood chip company.  He served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. 

He loved carpentry, farming, and mechanic work.

He is survived by his loving wife; son, Lincoln; his daughters, Kimberly, Kacy, Keely, Kia, and Laura; brother, Robert Thomas, of Anna, Illinois; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and other family members. 

A Graveside Service will be Monday, January 31, 2022, in the Macedonia Cemetery in Newark at 10:00 a.m.
