Brenda Kaye Snow, 70, of Batesville, departed this life on Friday, January 21, 2022.
She was born in McDowell, Kentucky, on December 12, 1951, to Oscar Osborne and Mary Belle Tackett. Her family moved to Ashtabula, Ohio shortly after she was born. At age 18, she moved to San Diego, CA. During her working years she worked for thirty-two years at Solar Turbines, a Caterpillar Company, as the manager of Export Finance in San Diego. She loved her job and excelled in this area.
While she did travel for work all over the world, she hated doing so. What she enjoyed was singing, going home for visits with family in Ohio, going to the casinos with family and friends. She loved her dogs very much. She was an avid reader and a collector of hundreds of books.
She is survived by her son, Richard Holguin (Lupe) of Moreno Valley, California; and daughter, Alysha Fox (Mathew), of Cord.
She is survived by five of her nine siblings: Tavis Osborne, Ohio; Oscar “Bubby” Osborne, Jr. (Sheri), Florida; sister, Hazel Reed and Betty Frasure, of Ohio; Nora Pinney, of Arizona;
Grandchildren, Leanna Webb, Richie Holguin, Vincent Holguin, Ben Holguin, Ayla Fox, Rubee Fox, Ezekiel Fox, Naomi Fox, Isaac Fox, Levi Fox, Eli Fox, Ezra Fox; great grandchild, Vincent Holguin, Jr.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Kenny Osborne, and three sisters, Zetti Brooks, Beatrice Root, and Bethel Lang.
She will be laid to rest in the family cemetery in Ohio.
