Bonnie Lou Diemond

Bonnie Lou Diemond, 70, of Batesville, departed this life on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her home.  She was born on July 14, 1953 to Robert Smather and Pauline Rigsby in Waynesville, North Carolina.

Bonnie worked in the medical field as an LPN in Fulton County Hospital in Salem and Network of Community Options of Batesville.

She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, crafts, and etching glass.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Kenneth Diemond, of Batesville and George Martin Talent, Jr. of Salem; a brother, Jr. Smathers, of Concord, North Carolina; grandchildren, Robert Diemond, Tommie Jean Diemond, Braxton Wrestler, Jaden House; adopted children, Marvin Huddle and Ashely Diemond; one great grandchild, Kinley; several friends and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth, and daughter in-law, Krista Wrestler.
