Billy Gene Patterson

Billy Gene Patterson, 74, of Batesville, was called from this life on Friday, May 29, 2026. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 10, 1951, to Louis Henry Patterson and Dorothy Redfern Patterson.

During his working years he was employed as a cashier at local gas stations.  He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and building race cars and watching many races.  One of his lifetime love was for preaching the word of God. 

Billy and Tami Byrd Patterson were joined in marriage on February 11, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with over forty years of marriage. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Tami, of the home: his sons, Shawn (Rebecca) Patterson, of Batesville, and Todd Louis (Tari) Patterson, of Michigan; his daughter, Heather (Mark) Harris, of South Dakota; his brothers, Guy (Theresa) Patterson, of Florida, Don (Sherry) Patterson, of Missouri, and Edgar Patterson, of Missouri; his sisters, Debbie Sours, of Missouri, and Patsy Frazier, of Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Kristian, Kasandra, Emi, Joshua Orion and Jeremy Webber.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dan, uncle, Wilbur, and Woodrow Davis. 

There will be a private service at a later date.
